Some weddings just feel effortlessly right, and Margaret and Jon’s day was exactly that. Set against the lush greenery of Hillstone St Lucia, their ceremony was intimate, heartfelt, and overflowing with joy.
With just 20 of their nearest and dearest, the atmosphere felt deeply personal, the kind of celebration where everyone knew the couple’s story and shared in every laugh and tear.
After a week of wild Brisbane storms, the clouds parted just in time for their ceremony, bathing the gardens in soft, golden light. It was as if the weather had decided to give them their moment, and make it so so special.
Allie, their incredible wedding singer, set the tone perfectly, singing Margaret down the aisle to “Here Come's the Sun (so fitting!) with a voice that gave everyone goosebumps. Society Blooms created the most stunning floral arrangements, perfectly complementing the serene beauty of Hillstone’s grounds.
Margaret and Jon’s ceremony was everything they are as a couple: sweet, relaxed, and full of love. There was laughter, a few happy tears, and a beautiful sense of ease that carried through every word and every glance they shared.
It was an honour to stand beside them as they made their promises and began this new chapter together, surrounded by love, and the people who mean the most.
